Broadstaff Adapt Home For Client Following Fall

Posted: 6th of May 2011 at 11:00:00

Having stayed eight months in hospital following a fall that lead to a broken hip, Leo Mason finally returned to his adapted home to resume family life. The adaptions involved the conversion of former garage space to create a bedroom that accomodates the specialist bed required. In addition, a wet room and associated toilet and wash facilities were provided to enable Leo to have a better quality of living within the home environment.

A mechanical hoist system was also installed within parts of the house to better faciltate moving Leo from bed to wheel chair and subsequently to other parts of the house. A ramp off the rear lounge allows a better access to the garden which is a greta passion for Leo.
