Late November in cooperation with the Parochial Church Council and Chartered Architects Forshaw Greaves and Partners, Broadstaff Construction brought together experts in their field to carry out initial survey works of the internal fabric of St Mary’s Church in Kinnerley near Oswestry.
The internal restoration works consist of plaster repairs with traditional lime plaster, timber treatment, rewiring and decoration and Broadstaff are working closely with the team to identify the scope of the restoration required and to firm up the budget for the works.
The church has undergone major restoration work to stonework and roof in 2007 and fundraising permitting the internal restoration will commence in the spring of 2012.
